Stanley Cup 2015: Chicago swept Minnesota

Chicago won the fourth game against Minnesota at home and are the first team to reach the semifinals of the 2015 Stanley Cup.

Chicago 4-3 Minnesota (4-0)

Blackhawks is doing another good play off series this year. Maybe it will take them all the way, just like in 2010 and 2013. In the fourth game against the Wilds they were in a comfortable 4-1 lead after Marian Hossa did the fourth goal in the open net. However, Minnesota fought all the way til the end and managed to reduce the lead to 4-3. They never came closer than that though and Chicago now has a few days off before they will face the winner between Calgary and Anaheim which Anaheim leads 2-1.

Montreal bounced back

Tampa Bay had the chance to sweep Montreal in four straight games and, as Chicago did, reach the semifinals, however, the Canadiens had other plans. After the first period Montreal was in a 2-0 lead and with half of the game to go it had increased to 5-0. The end score waas 6-2 and Canadiens now takes the series with them to Bell Centre and according to P.K Subban they aim at doing a replay of Los Angeles Kings turnaround last year, winning four straight games against San Jose in the 2014 play offs. Time will tell..
