England faces Switzerland in the first round of the UEFA qualifiers

UEFA

7-9th of September it’s time for the first round of the qualifiers for UEFA 2016 in France. We have some interesting match-ups to look forward to. For those of us who have abstinence from this summer’s World Championships, the qualifiers will sure supply our needs of great soccer.

Switzerland vs England

Roy Hodgson’s England will meet Switzerland in Basel. The Three Lions have much to prove after this summers World Championships where they didn’t even make the playoffs. Switzerland made a good World cup and will start the qualifiers full of confidence. It is important for both teams to get a good start in the qualifiers.

Germany vs Scotland

The current world champions Germany will start their qualifiers home against Scotland. Germany lost a friendly game against the world-cup runner-up Argentina earlier this week, they should however be able to win against the Scotts without too much of a hazzle. With the World Cup win, Spain’s dominating dynasty came to an end. They won the 2008 and 2012 European Championships as well as the 2010 World Cup. Perhaps it is Germany who will be the new dynasty. Nevertheless, European Football have a large portion of good teams with different playing styles and mentality right now.

Austria vs Sweden

Sweden’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic made his 50th goal in the national team earlier this week. That made him Sweden’s top goal scorer of all time. Sweden will play Austria in Vienna monday 8th September. In the qualifier draw, Sweden managed to dodge the hardest European teams. Austria and Russia is the main opponents in their group and it should be some even matchups against both these teams. Don’t forget to make some bets during the qualifiers.
